There was plenty of movement in all directions on the list of most sold Amazon books from Feb. 23 to 29. There’s a new No. 1 in town.

There’s a new most sold book in town. The list of most sold Amazon books from Feb. 23 to Feb. 29 saw a lot of changes. Here’s a look at the full list.

The most notable mention has to be the climb When We Believed in Mermaids made on the list. It knocked Where the Crawdads Sing off the top of the list to claim the top spot. This is 16 weeks after initially entering the list, showing that sometimes, it just takes a bit of time for a novel to become so popular.

It wasn’t the only big climb, either. Fans are getting ready for the upcoming Hulu series Little Fires Everywhere. The Celeste Ng novel climbed six places, despite not being on the list of most read Amazon books this week. It is worth noting, though, that the most read books only include Kindle Unlimited and Audible. The sold paperbacks can’t be included for obvious reasons.

Meanwhile, L.J. Shen has a new book out. Angry God debuted this week and Shen fans immediately hit the shelves for it. The book has debuted in the Top 5, which is certainly an excellent entry.

There were also a couple of reentries to the list. Look out for Where the Forest Meets the Stars and The Overdue Life of Amy Byler.

With all the positivity, there was some negative movement on the list. The biggest losses were Dear Ava by Ilsa Madden-Mills and Last Day by Luanne Rice, which lost six places each. The Last Sister by Kendra Elliot wasn’t too far behind losing four places.
