Will Brahms: The Boy II stream on Amazon Prime Video in the future?

Katie Holmes leads the cast of the new thriller, Brahms: The Boy II, a sequel to The Boy. Will the film stream on Amazon Prime Video?

Katie Holmes makes her return to the big screen in a standalone sequel to the 2016 film, The Boy. Brahms: The Boy II follows a family struggling to cope with trauma as they relocate to the foreboding Heelshire residence.

Want to stream Brahms: The Boy II online? You’ll want to know if it will eventually be available to stream on Amazon Prime Video.

As an STX Entertainment and Lakeshore Entertainment film, Brahms: The Boy II will most likely stream on Showtime and Showtime Anytime. Previous collaborative films between the two production companies like Peppermint and other STX Entertainment films like The Best of Enemies and The Upside, all began streaming on Showtime months after their theatrical debut.

It is possible that the film could wind up on Amazon Prime Video since previous Lakeshore Entertainment film, The Wedding Year, did. It seems to be the only one, so it’s not very likely.

When will Brahms: The Boy II transition to Showtime, if it indeed does? It took about 10 months for The Best of Enemies and a whole year for The Upside. That means we can anticipate the sequel to The Boy to arrive on Showtime between December of this year and February of next year.

Even though it may not stream on Amazon Prime, you will still be able to watch Brahms: The Boy II with your Prime membership. All you have to do is sign-up for Showtime through Amazon Video Channels, and you will have access to everything that is also available through the premium cable provider.
