Will The Call of the Wild be on Amazon Prime Video?

Amazon Prime Video is the home of many movies. Will it become the home of The Call of the Wild? Is this where you can stream The Call of the Wild online?

With so many streaming services, you’ll be looking at where you can watch your favorite movies online for free. The Call of the Wild is capturing hearts. Will you be able to stream it for free on Amazon Prime Video?

Sadly, the answer is no. At least, not right away. There’s certainly a chance that Amazon will gain the streaming rights sometime in the future, but it’s not going to happen for a few years.

The Call of the Wild is a 20th Century Fox movie, and they traditionally go to HBO. However, 20th Century Fox is now owned by Disney, so there is a chance that the streaming deals have changed. We could see the movie heading to Disney Plus in the future, instead.

If the movie does head to HBO, there’s some good news as an Amazon Prime member. You can get the platform as an Amazon Channel add-on. If it heads to Disney Plus, there isn’t an option for that just yet but it could become an option in the future if both companies could work together.

How long are we waiting for the movie to head to a streaming platform? It’s going to take at least six months. However, I’d look at eight to nine months at the earliest for HBO and maybe a year for Disney Plus. It’s hard to tell with the latter as we haven’t had enough time to see the sort of timeframe the streaming service is going to wait.

It will be available on DVD and Blu-ray first. You’ll also be able to buy it on Digital, which will be available through Amazon Video.
