Will Downhill stream on Amazon Prime Video?

Will Ferrell and Julia Louis-Dreyfuss lead the cast of the new black comedy film, Downhill. Will the film stream on Amazon Prime Video?
Downhill is a new black comedy film with elements of drama that stars Will Ferrell, Julia Louis-Dreyfuss, and Miranda Otto. Ferrell and Dreyfuss play Pete and Billie Staunton. Their marriage is put to the test when they go on a family ski trip, and an avalanche disrupts their fun.
Pete abandons his family to the snowfall and makes a run for it. Even though everyone survives, Billie finds herself extremely disturbed by Pete’s actions and is unsure if their marriage can proceed as usual in the aftermath.
The movie currently has low reviews, both from critics and audiences. In a rare instance, the audience scores are much lower than the critical ones on Rotten Tomatoes.

Want to stream Downhill online? You’ll want to know if it will eventually be available to stream on Amazon Prime Video.
As a Searchlight Pictures film, Downhill will most likely stream on HBO Now, and HBO GO. Previous Searchlight Pictures movies like Tolkien, The Favourite, and The Aftermath, all began streaming on HBO months after their theatrical debut.
When will Downhill transition to HBO? It took about eight months for Tolkien and almost nine months for The Favourite. That means we can anticipate the Dreyfuss and Ferrell-led comedy to arrive on HBO around the end of this year.
Even though it won’t stream on Amazon Prime, you will still be able to watch Downhill with your Prime membership. All you have to do is sign-up for HBO through Amazon Video Channels, and you will have access to everything that is also available through the premium cable provider.
