When will Downhill be available on DVD and Blu-ray?

Downhill is a black comedy film that stars comedy legends, Will Ferrell and Julia Louis-Dreyfus. When will it be available on DVD and Blu-ray?
Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Will Ferrell star in Downhill, a black comedy movie about a couple that is trying to deal with the fallout of an avalanche that almost results in their deaths. Dreyfus and Ferrell play a married couple, the Stauntons.
Billie Staunton is unimpressed when her husband runs away during an avalanche, abandoning his wife and children. In the aftermath, Billie isn’t sure if their marriage is worth fighting for, feeling that her husband completely betrayed her and their family.
At present, the film has mixed reviews from critics who feel that while it can humorous at times, Downhill is a little unclear in its narrative and the tone it wants to present, leaving the film feeling muddled more often than not. But for those of you who plan on purchasing the movie when it releases, you might want to know when it will become available on DVD and Blu-ray.

The film is a Searchlight Pictures production, which means we can estimate that it will take approximately three to four months to be released on DVD and Blu-ray. Previous Searchlight films, Ready or Not, Jojo Rabbit, and Tolkein, all took about that amount of time to transition from cinemas to home release. That means we will probably see Downhill released sometime around the end of May or beginning of June.
If you’re hoping to buy the film on Amazon Video, then you won’t have to wait quite as long. The digital versions of Searchlight Pictures movies tend to release two weeks before their physical release dates.
