Ready for another psychological horror? The Lodge is out in theaters, but when can you watch it on Amazon Video, DVD, and Blu-ray?

So far, this year hasn’t been all that positive for horror movies. However, The Lodge is trying to change that. After it’s premiere at Sundance Film Festival, it’s not getting it’s nationwide release. Not ready to risk it at the theaters? Know you want to own this at home? When can you own The Lodge on DVD and Blu-ray?

The release date hasn’t been set just yet. That’s not all too surprising. However, that doesn’t mean we can’t work out a rough date for the release.

The Lodge is a NEON production, so we just have to look at other movies from the same company. We’ll look at Clemency and The Beach Bum for this, both of which came or will come to DVD three months after the release date. We can estimate the same for this psychological thriller, so we’re looking at around May 5, 2020 for the release date.

As for the release on Digital, we’re looking at a release about the same time as the DVD date. The Beach Bum came to Digital on the same day as the DVD, but Clemency doesn’t have a confirmed date just yet.

The Lodge stars Rile Keough, Jaeden Martell, Lia McHugh, Richard Armitage, and Alicia Silverstone. It’s a slow burn, but one that is more than worth watching and will certainly grip you from start to finish. When a young woman and her stepchildren are locked in a remote winter cabin, mysteries of the past are brought up threatening to haunt them all.

The ratings have been strong for the movie. It currently holds a 74% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes and is Certified Fresh. This comes from the Sundance Film Festival with audience ratings not available at the time of writing.
