Are you ready to relive the experience of Richard Jewell at home? The excellent movie based on true events is heading to DVD and Blu-ray in March 2020.

There are some stories that risk being forgotten. That’s not going to be the case of the story of Richard Jewell. After a run in the theaters, Richard Jewell is now heading to DVD and Blu-ray.

As predicted, the movie’s release date is set for March 2020. Mar. 17 to be exact. That’s not all that long to wait, and you can already pre-order the movie on Amazon, where you can grab it with the Price Guarantee.

If you can’t quite wait for St. Paddy’s Day, then you’ll want to get it on Digital. The release is set for Mar. 3.

Despite underperforming at the Box Office, Richard Jewell has been a success with audiences and critics, being Certified Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes. It’s based on the true story of the 1996 Summer Olympics, about an average security guard who manages to save the lives of multiple people after discovering three pipe bombs in a backpack.

However, just as you think he should be hailed a hero, he becomes the suspect. Naturally a loner, the FBI start to view him as the one to put the bombs together; calling them in as a way to draw attention to himself. For the next 88 days, live takes one drastic turn after another, and you can thank the FBI and media for that.

The real-life events have been simplified for the sake of the story, but Paul Walter Hauser offers an absolutely engaging performance. It’s a movie you need to watch at least once.
