Will Birds of Prey stream on Amazon Prime Video?

Birds of Prey has hit theaters, but you possibly want to watch it in the comfort of your own home. Will you be able to stream it on Amazon Prime Video?

Birds of Prey is one of the biggest movie releases of 2020 so far. It’s not surprising that you’re looking for ways to stream it. Will Birds of Prey come to Amazon Prime Video? That’s what we’ll look at right now.

If you were hoping to stream it for free, I’ve some bad news. Birds of Prey is a Warner Bros. movie, which means it’s definitely not heading to Amazon Prime Video any time soon. This doesn’t mean it will never head there, but for now, don’t expect it at all.

Instead, it’s going to likely head to HBO. Whether that’s HBO Now or HBO Max isn’t quite clear. With the new WarnerMedia streaming service coming in a few months, it is entirely possible that the movies will head to the Warner-owner streaming platform.

If it comes to HBO Now, which is where Warner Bros. movies have headed before, you will be able to watch with an Amazon Channels subscription. If it heads to HBO Max, there are no indications that it will be included as one of the channel add-ons. You may have to go directly to the service.

You will be able to buy it on Amazon Video though when the digital copy is released. More details on that soon.

Birds of Prey is one of the DC movies many have been waiting for. I will admit that it seems more like a Harley Quinn movie instead of a Birds of Prey movie, but then Suicide Squad was a Harley Quinn and Joker movie rather than being about the titular group of anti-heroes.

But I digress. Harley Quinn has broken up with the Joker and now she has a target on her head. So, she decides it’s time to put a team of strong women together to fight against the villains.

So far, the movie has been performing extremely well with critics and audiences alike. It’s Certified Fresh with a critic score of 83% and an audience score of 88% on Rotten Tomatoes.
