There are some excellent DVD and Blu-ray releases on Feb. 4. Whether you’re looking for movies that make you think, something fun for the family, or even a TV series that leaves you on the edge of your seat from start to finish, you’re covered. But the entire selection of releases can be overwhelming.

You want the top picks. There’s something for everyone on this list. Here are the top five DVD and Blu-ray suggestions for Feb. 4.

Last Christmas

More from Movies on Amazon

We’ll start with the Christmas rom-com from 2019 starring Game of Thrones‘ Emilia Clarke and Crazy Rich Asians‘ Harry Golding. The two team up in Last Christmas, bringing a story of a woman who is just skating through life, unable to keep anything in order. When a stranger pops into her life and encourages her to go after dreams, she realizes there may be more worth living for.

It’s already out on Digital, but you can get the DVD and Blu-ray on Feb. 4. There’s a bittersweet twist at the end, which I hope hasn’t been ruined for you.

Playing with Fire

Sometimes you want a laugh-out-loud comedy, which is where Playing with Fire comes into play. An elite team of firefighters save three young children during a wildfire mission. The children remain at the firehouse, where they cause plenty of mischief and mayhem.

This is just one of those fun movies to put on at the end of a long week. John Cena, Brianna Hildebrand, Keegan-Michael Key, and many more comedic talents star.

Doctor Sleep

Need a horror? It’s all about Doctor Sleep. The sequel to The Shining stars Ewan McGregor as Danny, the same Danny who escaped the hotel with his mother at the end of the 1980s movie. Now all grown up and struggling with alcoholism, he learns that he’s not alone in the world when it comes to his gift. And there are people out there who want to steal it from him.

Doctor Sleep is well worth adding to your Stephen King collection. It’s out on Feb. 4 on DVD and Blu-ray but already available on Digital.

Keeping Faith Season 2

Not quite a movie, but certainly a DVD and Blu-ray release to look out for. Keeping Faith Season 2 picks up 18 months after the events of the first season. You’ll want to watch the first season before reading anything about Season 2 as there are spoilers to the ending to the first season.

To keep things spoiler-free, Faith is picking up the pieces after the events of the first season while taking on her first murder case. Can she prove her client is innocent?
