Jojo Rabbit is making its way to DVD and Blu-ray in a month’s time. Here’s all you need to know and how to pre-order right now.

Jojo Rabbit is one of those wartime movies that you need to see at least once. It doesn’t take the usual serious story that Second World War-set movies take, but offers comedy and heart. And it will soon be available on DVD and Blu-ray.

You can already pre-order Jojo Rabbit on Amazon Video, in time for its Feb. 4 release date. This is only in digital form, though. If you want to get it on DVD or Blu-ray, you’re going to need to wait until Feb. 18. There isn’t the option to pre-order on Amazon just yet, but that will come soon!

Jojo Rabbit tells the story of a 10-year-old German boy, Jojo. Raised during the Second World War, he has a blind support of Nazi-ism, which isn’t all that surprising considering the time period. He also has an imaginary friend: Adolf Hitler.

Life seems great for him at first. That is until he learns his mother is hiding a Jewish girl in her attic. And suddenly, Jojo’s life and understanding of the world are turned upside down. He realizes that everything he’s been told about the Jews isn’t necessarily right. And now he needs to figure out what he believes, what he should do, and how he can stay out of trouble.

The mixture of comedy and serious topics isn’t for everyone. However, for those who do like this satirical humor, it’s been a roaring success. On Rotten Tomatoes, it holds an 80% score with the critics and is Certified Fresh. It also holds a 95% score from the audience.
