Are you curious about what’s new on Amazon Prime Video this week? The streaming service is adding just one new movie to their catalog between Jan. 20 and 23. If you’re a fan of horror films, then you’ll be happy to know that the 2019 movie The Prodigy will become available to stream this week.

Unfortunately, the film didn’t perform well with critics but if you enjoy watching creepy flicks then you might be willing to give it a chance.

For those who aren’t enticed by The Prodigy, this week is a great time to catch up on everything that was released over this past weekend. Troop Zero is a can’t-miss movie starring Viola Davis, Mckenna Grace, and more. Speaking of feel-good movies, Skeleton Twins is also now available to stream and Amazon also released two new comedy specials!

Taylor Schilling (Orange is the New Black) stars as a mother thrilled that her son is showing signs of genius at such a young age, but then he begins to act out in an increasingly violent manner and she realizes that dark forces may be at work.

What to look forward to:

  • Fighting with My Family, 2019 – Jan. 30
