Are you curious about what’s new on Amazon Prime Video this weekend? The streaming service is adding quite a few new movies to their catalog between Jan. 17 and 19, including films like The Skeleton Twins, Troop Zero, and Miss Sloane.
Plus, Amazon will be adding some comedy stand-up specials from comedians like Rob Delaney and Russell Peters. Find out everything coming to Amazon Prime Video this weekend below.
Troop Zero (2019)
- Director: Bert & Bertie
- Starring: Viola Davis, Mckenna Grace, Jim Gaffigan, Mike Epps, Charlie Shotwell, and Allison Janney
A group of elementary school kids try and infiltrate a rival Youth Scouts group so they can have a chance at winning the talent show. Mckenna Grace leads the talented cast of this film which initially debuted at last year’s Sundance Festival.

Amazon is adding two new comedy specials to its growing line-up this weekend. Check out Russell Peters’s new special, Deported, which follows the comedian to Mumbai, India where he speaks about his life as an immigrant. Then you can watch Rob Delaney: Jackie, the comedian starred in the hit series Catastrophe and discusses what his life is like living in London in addition to the strange disappearance of his friend, Jackie.
The Skeleton Twins (2014)

- Starring: Bill Hader, Kristen Wiig, Luke Wilson, Ty Burrell, and Boyd Holbrook
Saturday Night Live alums Kristen Wiig and Bill Hader play a pair of estranged twins that reunite after dealing with near-tragedies. Wiig’s character is trying to figure out why she’s unhappy in her marriage while Hader’s character wants to reunite with a former flame to see if the magic is still there.
Together, the two must confront what is truly holding them back and see if they can find a way to move forward into the next chapter of their lives.
