10. Mulan

Release date: Mar. 27, 2020

Starring: Yifei Liu, Jet Li, Donnie Yen, Gong Li

Why it’s one of the anticipated movies of 2020: There have been many Disney live-action movies in recent years. Mulan is just the latest, but this is one that looks exciting and intriguing. Not only do we get some real representation on the big screen, but the story has a few new elements to it compared to the animated Disney classic. I’m certainly intrigued by the witch!

Kids and adults alike are looking forward to this movie. In fact, some kids have wanted to check out the animated version to get ready for the live-action movie.

9. James Bond: No Time to Die

Release date: Apr. 8, 2020

Starring: Daniel Craig, Ralph Fiennes, Rami Malek, Naomie Harris, Lea Seydoux, Ben Whishaw, Rory Kinnear, Jeffrey Wright, Ana de Armas, Lashana Lynch

Why it’s one of the anticipated movies of 2020: It’s time for the 25th movie in the James Bond franchise. This is also slated as the last movie with Daniel Craig in the titular role. He’s joined by a strong list of actors, including Mr. Robot‘s Rami Malek and Black and Blue‘s Naomi Harris. Captain Marvel‘s Lashana Lynch will also star in the movie and is slated as being a newer 007 who could relinquish the code to James Bond when he leaves retirement.

With so many elements to the movie, including Craig possibly leaving the franchise and it being a milestone movie, it’s not surprising that this is one of the most anticipated movies in 2020. It’s also set to be one of the most exciting action movies.
