When will Cats be available to buy on Amazon Video, DVD, and Blu-ray?
You’ve seen Cats in theaters and now you want to add it to your home video collection. When will Cats be on Amazon Video, DVD, and Blu-ray?
While there are many who didn’t enjoy Cats, there are some who did. It’s a movie you can put on in the background or just relax to. And that’s why you’re looking for when Cats will be out on Amazon Video, DVD, and Blu-ray.
There isn’t a set release date just yet. However, we can make an educated guess based on the movie being a Universal Pictures movie. We can look at the likes of Abominable and Last Christmas to get an idea of release date.

Both of these movies have a three-month or so wait time from theater to DVD. That means we’re looking at about the same length of time for Cats. That means sometime in the middle of March 2020, and with the flop at the Box Office, I’d hazard a guess at earlier in the month than later.
Universal Pictures usually releases the movies on Digital around two weeks before the DVD release date. This could mean a February release for Cats on Amazon Video, especially since the movie hasn’t done well at the Box Office.
Speaking of doing well, Cats has become both a financial and critical flop. So far, it’s only made $24m of its estimated $95m budget back, and it’s been in theaters since Dec. 20. It’s Rotten Tomatoes scores sit at 21% from the critics and 53% from the audiences. It does suggest that there’s something endearing, which could lead to good Digital and DVD sales.
