Home Alone is one of the greatest Christmas movies to watch with the family. Where can you stream Home Alone and the sequel during Christmas 2019?

There are certain Christmas movies you’ll want to check out throughout the season. Home Alone and its sequel are two that you’ll want to watch with the family. Where can you stream Home Alone during Christmas 2019?

Can you get it with your Prime membership? Sadly, not. You’ll need to grab a Disney+ membership for Home Alone this Christmas. That’s not all that surprising when you consider Disney+ is planning a reboot starring Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt‘s Ellie Kemper and Catastrophe‘s Rob Delaney.

Both the main movies starring Macaulay Culkin, Catherine O’Hara, and John Heard are available to stream. There were other sequels, but none did as well and they didn’t focus on the McAllister family, who were the reasons we all watched the original two movies in the first place, right?

Home Alone is a great movie for the entire family. The first sees Kevin accidentally left behind when his family heads out on a family vacation. While home alone, he thinks he has the keys to the kingdom, but he’s soon put in danger when burglars attempt to break into his home. Fortunately, his mischievous ways help him set up traps for the thieves, slowing them down and giving Kevin time to get the cops out.

During the second movie, Kevin and his family head out on another Christmas vacation. This time, Kevin isn’t left at home but he does end up on a trip to New York instead of Florida with the rest of his family. Armed with his dad’s credit card, he manages to get a hotel room and runs the place while his mom figures out that he’s missing again.
