The Harry Potter books saw plenty of movement on the list of most read Amazon books. Here’s a look at the full list from Dec. 8 to 14.

The list of most read Amazon books from Dec. 8 to 14 is in. There was certainly some movement on the list, with a lot of it coming from the Harry Potter books. Just which one would be the most read book through Kindle Unlimited or Audible?

After a week back in second place, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone lost a spot. It was to Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, which has been one of the most read Harry Potter books for a fair few weeks now.

More from Amazon Books

The Goblet of Fire jumped up a place, while The Deathly Hallows gained three places this week. And that wasn’t all! The Half-Blood Prince gained four spots to land back inside the Top 10. While The Prisoner of Azkaban and The Chamber of Secrets remain outside the Top 10, they did both gain a place each.

The positive movement from the Harry Potter books did mean some downward movement from others. A Minute to Midnight by David Baldacci dropped another four places, losing its Top 10 holding. Brandon Sanderson’s Starsight lost a place after debuting into the Top 10 last week. Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens dropped two spots, but just holds onto the Top 10 for now.

Margaret Atwoods’ novels, The Handmaid’s Tale and The Testaments, were knocked back out the list of most read Amazon books. It did mean Alex Michaelides’ The Silent Patient reentered the list, while Jess Lourey’s Unspeakable Things debuted on the list.
