When will Richard Jewell be available to purchase on DVD and Blu-ray?

Richard Jewell is a heartbreaking true story directed by Clint Eastwood. When can you buy the movie on Digital, DVD or Blu-ray?

Richard Jewell is the latest movie from accomplished actor and director Clint Eastwood. His latest film is based on the real story of a man named Richard Jewell and how his life was warped by media and the police force investigating an attack at the 1996 Summer Olympics.

Jewell was a security guard at AT&T at the time, and he wound up getting caught in the middle of the investigation. The film is based on an article that was published in Vanity Fair in 1997 and The Suspect written by Kent Alexander and Kevin Salwen.

Before the Centennial Olympic Park bombing in 1996, Jewell discovered the bomb and managed to save many people. But he was fingered as one of the lead suspects by the FBI at the time. Jewell was eventually cleared but his life was irreparably altered afterward thanks to the way his name was dragged through the mud.

The movie stars Sam Rockwell, Kathy Bates, Jon Hamm, Olivia Wilde, and Paul Walter Hauser. It’s currently doing well with critics and audiences, although unfortunately, it underperformed at the box office.

If you’re anxious to own Richard Jewell on Digital, DVD, or Blu-ray, you shouldn’t have to wait too long to get your hands on a copy. It’s a Warner Brothers film, which means it will take approximately three months to make its way out on physical release.

We will likely see the movie become available in March 2020, the digital version will likely predate the physical by about two weeks. Previous Warner Brothers films like The Goldfinch, IT: Chapter Two, and Joker followed a similar trajectory.
