When is Code 8 coming to Amazon Video, DVD, and Blu-ray?

Code 8 is a superhero movie with a dark, villainous twist. When can you watch the Amell cousins together on Amazon Video, DVD, and Blu-ray?

The Amell cousins are teaming up again. Robbie and Stephen Amell take the lead roles in dark, villainous superhero story, Code 8. When can you watch Code 8 on Amazon Video, DVD, and Blu-ray?

It’s not so easy to work out when Code 8 will be on DVD and Blu-ray. It’s going to be distributed by XYZ Films, so we have to look at other releases to get an idea. We’ll look at In Darkness and Mandy for help here.

The two movies were released one to two months after the theatrical releases. So, it certainly doesn’t take long to get them on DVD and Blu-ray. With that in mind, we should see Code 8 get a DVD release sometime in January 2020. We’ll be looking at early February at the earliest.

What about Amazon Video? There’s some excellent news for those who want to see the Amell brothers in action together again. The movie has already got its Digital release. Code 8, like other XYZ Films, comes to Digital at the same time as the theatrical releases. You can buy Code 8 on Amazon Video right now.

The Amell cousins certainly deliver a different superhero story, which we knew would be the case based on the short they released two years ago. Those with superpowers have been forced into poverty and ruin. However, a group of superpowered individuals wants to make a change, and that means robbing a bank. As greed gets in the way, more and more problems arise.
