2. Forever

Sometimes you want a show that reminds you of what love means. You need a life that gives you different characters who want different things in life, but all manage to find ways to make things work. You’ll want a show to remind you to take risks and focus on being happy, because you might not get a second chance when you’re dead.

Forever is that show. Each episode is 30 minutes long, and what it starts off as isn’t what it ends up becoming. Sadly, the series was canceled too soon, after just one season, but there are eight episodes that you’ll delve into and be able to binge-watch throughout the entire weekend.

It all starts with Oscar and June, two people who have been married for 12 years. And for the last 12 years, everything has been steady. A little too steady for June.

For their next vacation, she suggests that they go on a ski trip instead of the usual cabin holiday. It sounds like fun, but it’s sure to turn everything upside down. While most of the episodes are focused on June and Oscar, there is one that puts the focus on a couple that will teach you to go for things in life.

All episodes are currently available to stream on Amazon Prime Video. It’s not quite a full story because it was canceled too early, but it’s still worth the watch this Thanksgiving weekend.
