When the Scooby Gang win an all-expenses-paid trip of a lifetime, they think it’s going to be a much-needed vacation. You just knew it was going to be too good to be true, right? Scooby-Doo! Return to Zombie Island is the perfect followup to the 2011 Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island.

We’ve been fortunate to get a review copy of the DVD thanks to our friends at Warner Bros. Home Entertainment. It means we get to share all the exciting bonuses on the DVD, along with just how much fun this is for the family.

Scooby-Doo just never gets old, despite turning 50 this year! We sat down as a family to check out the sequel to Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island and immediately felt right at home. There are plenty of connections back to the 2011 movie, some of them just playing in the background as the Scooby Gang try to enjoy their vacation.

As the gang realizes that their vacation is actually another mystery, they are determined to solve it. And what a ride you’re taken on with them.

As well as the movie, there are two special features that you’ll want to check out with the whole family—or on your own, because you’re definitely never too old for a mystery and the g-g-g-ghosts!

When and how much?

The digital copy is already available to buy. That was released on Sept. 3, and we shared a clip from the movie to mark the release.

Scooby-Doo! Return to Zombie Island is out on DVD on Oct. 1. Yep, that’s tomorrow! It’s retailing for $19.98, and you can still pre-order on Amazon Video and buy from the day of release.
