Can you believe after a long three years, Downton Abbey is back? This time, it’s on the big screen and we couldn’t be more delighted. There are high chances that you want to add it to your collection of DVDs and Blu-rays of the TV series. When will Downton Abbey be on Amazon Video, DVD, and Blu-ray?
We don’t have a set release date just yet. When that happens, we’ll be sure to update. Right now, we can offer a projected date.

Focus Features movies usually take about two months to go from theater to DVD. That has been the case for recent movies Mary, Queen of Scots and Boy Erased. With that in mind, we can expect two months for this highly anticipated movie. I’d anticipate around Nov. 26 if Focus Features follows its usual pattern.
The Digital version is often released a week or two ahead of the DVD and Blu-ray. You could likely expect Downton Abbey on Amazon Video to purchase at the start of November 2019.
Sadly, the movie won’t be available on Amazon Prime Video. The majority of Focus Features movies don’t head to Amazon Prime Video as part of your membership. This isn’t Amazon’s fault but due to licensing agreements with studios.
Downton Abbey is already receiving rave reviews from both audiences and critics. It’s Certified Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes with an 85% approval rating at the time of writing this. Audiences love it more, giving it a 95% approval rating.
