10 movies you won’t believe are turning 10 in 2019
2019 will see some major movies turning a decade old. There’s a Harry Potter movie, a couple of excellent kids’ movies, and more. Here are 10 turning 10.
Can you believe that some of the movies we watch over and over again are turning 10 this year? Some have already turned 10 in 2019. I don’t know about you but it makes me feel old.
Not all these movies are available on Amazon Prime Video free with your membership. If you want to watch them this year, you’ll likely need to buy or rent them through Amazon Video. However, they’re certainly worth checking out.
Whether you’re looking for family movies or looking for something to put on for couple’s date night, here are 10 you won’t believe are turning 10 in 2019.

Who it’s for: Initially for the book fans, the Harry Potter movies have become perfect for all ages and all interests. You’ll want to have watched the previous movies first, but this is a movie that will be perfect for the whole family to watch.
Why it does/doesn’t stand the test of time: Like all the Harry Potter movies, Half-Blood Prince wasn’t as good as the books. But does that make it a bad movie? Certainly not! This is one of the biggest movies. I remember being one of those watching it on the first night it came out in theaters.
The graphics and the storyline hold up, just like the storyline does in the book. It remains one of the strongest movies as the actors learn more skills and we get a few answers foreshadowed throughout the movies.
9. Law Abiding Citizen
When it turns 10: Oct. 16
Who it’s for: If you love movies with twists or with a little extra in the underlayers, then you’re going to want to check out Law Abiding Citizen.
Why it does/doesn’t stand the test of time: Law Abiding Citizen is one of those movies you’re either going to love or hate. Sadly, I don’t think it’s held up within the last 10 years. It hasn’t aged well like many of the others on this list, and the storyline isn’t all that surprising or endearing. Once you know the twist at the end, there’s little point in watching it again.
