Will IT Chapter Two be available to stream on Amazon Prime Video?

If you don’t have the chance to return to Derry with the Losers by seeing IT Chapter Two this weekend you might wonder when it will stream on Amazon.
Stephen King fans who loved the popular book, “IT,” are having a great week with the follow-up movie, IT Chapter Two releasing two years after the first movie. The new film stars A-list actors reprising the roles of the original Losers Club characters like Beverly, Richie, Mike, and more.
At the end of IT Chapter One, the kids had finally defeated Pennywise, or so it seemed. But IT returns every 27 years as part of a continuous cycle. The group made a promise to return to Derry should It ever come back and begin murdering people once again.
The sequel film follows the adults’ journey to vanquish Pennywise once and for all in their most dangerous trek yet. Not all of them will make it out alive.

But whether you can’t afford to go to the movies, you’re too busy, or you simply saw the movie and loved it enough to want to rewatch it, you might be wondering whether or not IT Chapter Two will become available on Amazon Prime Video at some point. Unfortunately, because IT Chapter Two is a Warner Brothers film it won’t stream on Amazon Prime Video. At least not right away.
That said, it should stream on HBO due to the current licensing agreements. If you are subscribed to the HBO channel through Prime Video Channels then you should be able to watch it with your membership.
Previous Warner Brother films like Fantastic Beasts: Crimes of Grindelwald and Aquaman are both available to watch on HBO. However, you will likely have a pretty long waiting time before the movie becomes available.
Aquaman released in December of last year and only became available on HBO this summer. IT Chapter Two will likely follow a similar trajectory.
It might work better for you to rent or purchase the movie when it becomes available on Amazon Video since it should be available there in December.
