Amazon books: Most read books last week [Aug. 25-31]

The Harry Potter books saw a small amount of movement on the list of most read Amazon books last week. Here’s a look at the list from Aug. 25 to 31.

There was a small amount of movement on the list of most read Amazon books between Aug. 25 and 31. A couple of Harry Potter books switched places, A Game of Thrones dropped again, and Here to Stay moved back up the list. Here’s a look at the full list from the week.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is certainly one of the strongest books in the series. The novel moved up a place this week, knowing the first book off the No. 2 spot. Don’t worry, The Philosopher’s Stone remained in third place and most of the other Harry Potter books remained where they were. Chamber of Secrets dropped down a place.

We can thank the Chamber of Secrets movement to Gregg Olsen’s Lying Next to Me.. The book, which debuted on the list of most read Amazon books last week, moved up seven spots. It was the highest mover of the whole week, placing it in eighth place.

Here to Stay by Mark Edwards also saw some movement up the list. It gained three spots, moving into 14th place. However, One Good Deed and The New Girl both lost two places each. A Game of Thrones lost a place, while its two sequels held onto the bottom places on the Top 20 list.
