This week in Amazon trailers: All the videos released Aug. 19-25

Amazon released a number of videos this week. Here’s a look back at all the trailers and in-depth looks at shows on the platform from Aug. 19 to 25.

Between Aug. 19 and 25, Amazon released six new videos. The majority of them were trailers for upcoming shows, including the comedy specials that were released at the weekend and the upcoming seasons of Goliath and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 3 trailer drop

The first video of the week was the trailer for the upcoming season of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. This certainly got plenty of attention, which isn’t surprising for one of the streamer’s biggest award winters.

This trailer is more of a teaser of things to come, along with the release date of Dec. 6. Take a look at what to expect when Midge goes on tour.

All the times Fleabag looked at us

Fleabag is one of those shows that breaks the fourth wall completely. We’re the ones that Fleabag is narrating her story to, and we’re part of her world. So, Amazon decided to look back at every single time the character looked at us.

There are just 136 looks in the first season alone. The video runs for three-and-a-half minutes, and you’ll certainly want to check out all the faces Phoebe Waller-Bridge pulls. Even if you haven’t watched the series, you’ll enjoy this video and it’s going to make you want to check the show out.

The Report teaser trailer

Another trailer is for the upcoming movie, The Report, starring Adam Driver. It’s a movie based on a true story, and the teaser sets the tone of the danger and the conspiracies after 9/11.

Goliath Season 3 trailer

You may have missed this trailer release with all the others out during the week. However, Goliath Season 3 is dropping in October, and the trailer gives us just a hint of what to expect. Billy Bob Thornton is back and he’s ready for another case.

When a sinkhole kills a man’s wife, he wants to get some answers. Someone has to be responsible and our Billy McBride is looking into it. Will he be able to gain his reputation back?

A trailer for the Amazon comedy specials

If you’ve still not watched the four comedy specials that dropped on Prime Video at the weekend, then you’ll want to check out this trailer. It gives a look at the four different stand-ups, with a clip from each one to tease you into the specials.

You don’t have to watch them all. However, this trailer will give you a taste of what to expect to find the specials that will speak out to you.

The Boys Episode 1 recap

For those who haven’t caught The Boys yet (where have you been?) there’s a quick recap of the very first episode. This makes it clear that the good guys aren’t the good guys after all. However, it gives nothing away about the series after that first episode.
