Ethan Hunt and his crew return for another round of action in the sixth official Mission Impossible film. Mission: Impossible – Fallout follows Ethan Hunt and the IMF team as they try to prevent a monumental disaster from being carried out.
They must team up with CIA assassin, August Walker, to stop John Lark and a terrorist organization calling themselves the Apostles. The group intends to detonate a series of nuclear attacks religious areas such as the Vatican and Jerusalem.

The film received universal acclaim from critics and is one of the highest-rated Mission: Impossible movies of the entire franchise considering it sits at a staggering 97% on Rotten Tomatoes. Tom Cruise, Henry Cavill, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Sean Harris, Angela Bassett, Michelle Monaghan, and Alec Baldwin star in the movie. Christopher McQuarrie directs this is the second film in the series directed by McQuarrie.
Given its success with audiences and critics, it should come as no surprise that the film made a killing at the box office. It raked in close to $800 million. Critics praised it for taking the franchise in new directions with its jaw-dropping stunts and set pieces.
