When will Angel Has Fallen be available on DVD and Blu-ray?
By Mads Lennon
The sequel to London Has Fallen arrives with Angel Has Fallen, an exciting new action film. When can you buy it on DVD and Blu-ray?
If you watched previous Gerard Butler movies Olympus Has Fallen and London Has Fallen, then you probably know what to anticipate with the new movie, Angel Has Fallen. Mike Banning returns when he is called in by President Alan Trumball.
Banning serves as Trumball’s “guardian angel,” given his status as Secret Service Agent. He is in the middle of a fishing trip when a brutal drone attack occurs and nearly kills them both.

When Mike awakens, he finds that he is being set up to appear like he tried to assassinate the President. Mike must race against the clock to prove his innocence or suffer the consequences.
Aside from Butler, the movie also stars Morgan Freeman, Jada Pinkett Smith, Lance Reddick, Tim Blake Nelson, Piper Perabo, Nick Nolte, and Danny Huston. Angel Has Fallen is being distributed by Lionsgate. Their previous movies like Hellboy and Long Shot only took about two months to make it to DVD. However, the more successful John Wick 3, took about three months.
Depending on how the film fares, we will probably see it come out on DVD and Blu-ray between October and November. The digital release date will pre-date the DVD date by about two weeks if it continues the pattern set by previous films.
At present, Angel Has Fallen is generating mixed-to-negative reviews from critics. But my guess is, if you enjoyed the previous films in the Fallen trilogy, there’s no reason you won’t enjoy this one.
