Last week on the list of most read Amazon books, the Harry Potter novels all moved back into the Top 10. Meanwhile, A Game of Thrones dropped down on the list and there was one new entry. Here’s a look at the most read books on Amazon from Aug. 11 to 17.
After a few weeks of some Harry Potter books not being in the Top 10, the second novel finally moved back up. It gained three spots to put it ninth on the list, the last of the Harry Potter novels.

Which books lost their places? The new Girl by Daniel Silva dropped three places, narrowly missing out on the Top 10.
Two of the biggest movies, though, were Here to Stay by Mark Edwards, which gained six spots on the list. Nora Roberts’ Under Currents lost five places, only just hanging onto the 20th place on the list.
Pierce Brown’s Dark Age was the only new book on the list this week. This is just for the most read Amazon books, though, looking at who has listened on Audible and read on Kindle Unlimited. There are more changes and new books on the list of most sold book, which we’ll look at later this week.
There were two non-movers. What You Did by Claire McGowan and The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides continue to hold steady on the list. For Michaelides, this marks the 25th week the book has been on the list, and it’s certainly well deserved. If you haven’t checked out the thriller yet, I highly recommend it.
