Will Good Boys be available to stream on Amazon Prime?

Why go to the theater to see a movie when you can simply wait for it to arrive on Amazon Prime? Will new comedy Good Boys be available to stream?

Good Boys is one of the best new movies this summer and has helped break the box office slump on comedy films. The movie is a co-production from the popular team, Evan Goldberg and Seth Rogen.

It stars rising Jacob Tremblay as Max, a 12-year-old boy who gets invited to his first kissing party. But he’s nervous about what to expect and turns to his best friends, Lucas and Thor, to get some advice.

Their strategy involves an expensive drone and the teenage girls next door. Needless to say, the plan goes terribly awry and the boys are forced to go on an adventure to steal back the drone before Max’s father discovers what they’ve done.

So far, the movie is doing great with audiences, critics, and at the box office. But if you can’t make it to the cinema or you simply want to rewatch the film, you might be hoping it’ll come to Amazon Prime Video. Variety even reports the film might have the best opening for an original comedy film this year.

We have both good and bad news. The bad news is, Good Boys is unlikely to come specifically to Amazon Prime Video. The good news is, it should be added to HBO in the future. With Prime Video Channels, you’ll be able to watch the film when it debuts.

Previous Universal Pictures films like Halloween, First Man, and Night School are all currently available on HBO. The movies take about nine months from their theatrical debut to arrive on the platform. Good Boys should come to HBO, and therefore Prime Video Channels, sometime in May of next year.
