Aug. 4 to 12 saw some movement at the top of the list of most read Amazon books. Here’s a look at the top 20 books read during last week.

While the most sold Amazon books tends to see a good amount of movement, that’s not always the case with the most read books. Because of the way the books are tracked, most of the usual suspects are on the list week after week.

There is some movement this week, but it’s mostly just between the books that have been on the list for the last year or so. Most of the Harry Potter books have made it back into the Top 10 over the last couple of weeks, although Delia Owens’ Where the Crawdads Sing remains at the top of the list.

More from Amazon Books

The biggest movement on the list is Dave Baldacci’s One Good Deed, which made its debut last week on the list. It jumps up six places, joining the Harry Potter books in the Top 10.

One the way down this week is The New Girl by Daniel Silva. It dropped five spots, although did manage to stay in the Top 10. Unfortunately for City of Girls, it couldn’t remain in the Top 10. Elizabeth Gilbert’s books dropped two places into 11th place, with Summer of ’69 following in 12th place.

Meanwhile, it looks like A Game of Thrones readers are starting to move onto the second book. As the first George R.R. Martin drops two spots, A Clash of Kings moves up two spots on the list, so they’re next to each other. The third book, A Storm of Swords also moved up a spot, although remains in the bottom five of most read Amazon books this week.

Here’s a look at the Top 20 most read books through Amazon Kindle or listened to through Audible.
