Will Hobbs and Shaw be available to stream on Amazon Prime Video?

When it comes to the Fast and Furious franchise, it’s not for everyone. However, the spin-off Hobbs and Shaw is going to be a movie for all who want something fast-paced and fun. If you don’t want to watch the movie in the theaters, you’re likely looking for when it will be available on a streaming platform. Will that platform be Amazon Prime Video?
Hobbs and Shaw isn’t going to be on Amazon Prime Video. At least, it’s not going to be any time soon. It’s got another streaming service to go to first. That streaming service is HBO.

Like the Fast and Furious franchise, Hobbs and Shaw is a Universal Pictures movie and all those movies head to HBO Now and HBO Go. The great news is that you can get the Amazon Channel with your Prime membership. You’re not paying any extra by going through Prime than you would if you went directly to the service, but you do get to keep all your payments in one place.
It will take at least six months for the movie to hit the streamer. In the future, we could see it on Amazon Prime Video, but there’s no guarantee about this. Once it’s had its run on the automatic streaming service, there will be a fight for the SVOD rights to this.
Hobbs and Shaw first came across each other in Fast and Furious 7. However, now they’re getting a movie of their own. The two need to come together to stop anarchist Brixton, but they need to ask for help from Shaw’s MI-6 sister. The movie stars Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, Idris Elba, and Vanessa Kirby, and it looks a hell of a lot of fun.
