The fourth edition of Toy Story is finally here in theatres after nine years since Toy Story 3. When is Toy Story 4 coming to Amazon Video, DVD and Blu-ray?
In a year where Disney is practically dominating theaters with Dumbo, Aladdin, Avengers: End Game and the upcoming The Lion King , we have the highly anticipated Toy Story 4 hitting theaters this weekend. This is the fourth installment in the Toy Story franchise by Disney and Pixar. Being a childhood classic and loved by many it is sure to have a standout performance at the box office.
If you are already wondering when Toy Story 4 is out on DVD so the kids can watch it on repeat for weeks, typically movies take three months to get released to DVD. However, Toy Story 4 is expected to be out on DVD in October, following the pattern of other Disney Pixar movies like Cars 3, Incredibles 2 and Coco, which all took around four months for DVD and Digital HD release.
Update: Toy Story 4‘s DVD and Blu-ray release date has been announced.

It’s likely Toy Story 4 will get released middle or late October, depending on which Tuesday it fits on, as all DVD releases are on Tuesdays. If there is going to be a Digital release we believe it will be on the same day of the DVD release.
We are currently unsure if you will be able to purchase Toy Story 4 through Amazon Video digitally, due to the upcoming release of the Disney+ streaming service. With Disney+ launching in November, it’s unsure if Toy Story 4 will get put on there instead. This means you would only be able to get the physical copies through Amazon.
Unfortunately, this also means Toy Story 4 and any upcoming Disney movies will not be Prime Video for free because of Disney+.

It has been nine years since Andy left for college and now the toy box is finally being opened again, this time to go on a epic road trip adventure. The crazy journey turns in to an unexpected reunion when Woody (Tom Hanks) has a detour, which leads him to his long-lost friend Bo Peep. Woody and the rest of the gang discover how big the world actually is, and what makes a toy when new guy Forky (made out of trash) joins them and declares he isn’t a “real toy”.
The toys are also joined by new characters, Ducky and Bunny voiced by Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele, and also Duke Caboom voiced by Keanu Reeves.
