4. The Affair

The Affair, as the name suggests, is actually about an affair, between Noah Solloway (Dominic West) and Alison Bailey (Ruth Wilson). The show’s name might give a soppy love story vibe but is far from it. It is a thrilling gripping drama series with various episodes shown from the main characters’ perspective, showing how each of the events can affect everyone in involved, including their significant others.

Alison and Noah both meet during a random encounter when Noah and his family are on a vacation in Long Island, with Alison being a waitress who is struggling with depression. She is trying to fix her marriage with her husband Cole (Joshua Jackson), which hasn’t been the same since her four-year-old son tragically died. Noah and his wife, however, are supposedly in a happy marriage, but that doesn’t last for a while.

There are currently four seasons with 42 episodes, and Season 5, it’s final season, is expected to air towards the end of this year.

You can watch The Affair through Amazon Channels with a Showtime subscription for $8.99 per month starting with a seven-day free trial.

3. Westworld

Set in a very unusual type of theme park, Westworld is a tech oasis. It is the place where guests can enter and play out their fantasies with super realistic robots without any consequences. It doesn’t take long for things to start going awry when the robots start to develop a human-like consciousness. Human curiosity and tampering cause havoc as we get to discover the deep-secrets beneath where the guests can come to play.

Each episode of Westworld is like a puzzle piece with clues about the park, robots, and the Delos corporation. Westworld will have you constantly have you trying to solve its mysteries, giving you a buzz when you are correct about certain theories. Westworld, overall, is a really interesting piece of fiction and with its third season currently in production, it is only seeming to get better and taking a new menacing direction as the show progresses.

You can watch Westworld through Amazon Channels with a HBO Now subscription for $14.99 per month starting with a seven-day free trial.
