When will Godzilla: King of the Monsters be on Amazon Video, DVD, and Blu-ray?
The mighty Godzilla is back. When can you watch the latest Warner Bros. movie, Godzilla: King of the Monsters, on DVD and Blu-ray?
Godzilla is back and this time he’s here to prove he’s the king. While it may only be out in theaters, you’ll be looking at when you can own it at home. When is Godzilla: King of the Monsters out on Amazon Video, DVD, and Blu-ray?
This is a Warner Bros. movie, which means we’re looking at a little longer than most other movies take to come to home video. It took four months for the likes of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald and Ready Player One to come to DVD last year/early this year. However, Shazam! will be on DVD in July, three and a half months after the theatrical release date.

With this in mind, we’re looking at probably September 2019 for the release of Godzilla: King of the Monsters on DVD and Blu-ray. If it takes the shorter timeframe, it would be the beginning to middle of the month based on the theatrical release date.
As for Amazon Video, this is even harder to pin down. While some movies have come to Amazon Video two weeks before the DVD and Blu-ray release, others have been available a month earlier. We could see the Amazon Video (and other Digital) release as early as August, but it will probably be early to mid-September.
Godzilla: King of the Monsters sees the mighty Godzilla collide with Rodan, Mothra, and the three-headed King Ghidorah. The myths rise, they all want supremacy, and humanity is in danger.
Sadly, despite the hype, the movie hasn’t gained favorable reviews from critics on Rotten Tomatoes. It has been rated highly by fans though.
