What time will the Friday the 13th movies be available on Amazon Prime?
By Mads Lennon
Are you a fan of horror movies? Amazon Prime is bringing one of the iconic slasher franchises, Friday the 13th, to streaming soon and we have the details!
Amazon is helping you start the summer out right by making the Friday the 13th available to stream! Considering the film is about people being haunted and traumatized at Camp Crystal Lake, I’d say it’s pretty fitting for the long stretch of summer heat ahead of us.
All Friday the 13th movies from the original series will be made available on May 31. The only films not included are the ones that came out after the ’90s but if you’re a fan of the classics, then you’re in luck. However, if you’re trying to schedule your binge, you might be asking when exactly these movies will become available to stream.

Typically, Amazon releases its films at midnight GMT, which is five hours ahead of the east coast and eight hours ahead of the west coast. Depending on your time zone, the movies could become available anytime from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
It’s not likely you’ll be able to binge all seven movies in one sitting. It would take about 14 hours, give or take, to do that, but you could probably watch at least a couple of them the first night!
Unfortunately, if you’re looking for the 2009 reboot of Friday the 13th, you’ll have to rent the film from Amazon Video as it won’t be available to stream. It is currently on Netflix but will be leaving in June.
