When will The Hustle be on Amazon Prime Video?

Since The Hustle is an MGM movie, it means something excellent for those with a Prime membership. The female-led con comedy is going to eventually be on Amazon Prime Video. Now the question is when The Hustle will be on Amazon Prime.
Don’t expect it to be available as part of your Prime membership just yet. The comedy starring Rebel Wilson and Anne Hathaway will come to Digital, DVD, and Blu-ray first. That will happen in about three months, so does that mean four or maybe six months for the Prime Video release?

Unfortunately not. It takes about a year for MGM movies to come to Amazon Prime Video, when we look at the likes of Death Wish heading to the Amazon streaming service. The Hustle will likely be on Prime Video around May 2020.
I know it’s a long wait, but it does make sense for MGM. After all, the company won’t make as much back from the streaming platform. It wants to encourage people to buy the DVD first.
Is it going to be worth buying? Not if you listen to Rotten Tomatoes. It’s a flop in terms of critics reviews, with a 16% Tomatometer score. The audiences have been a little fairer, seeing it get a 41% Audience Score. However, this still isn’t great.
It’s going to depend on what you want to get out of the movie. The Hustle is a female-led comedy and is based on Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. It sounds like it’s one of those movies for a girl’s night out and you won’t want to take it too seriously. Personally, it might just be worth waiting a year for it to come to Amazon Prime Video.
