Female-led movies are becoming extremely popular. We just have to look at the likes of Captain Marvel and Isn’t It Romantic to see how much people love them. The Hustle is likely to be much of the same.

With Rebel Wilson and Anne Hathaway in the lead, do you really think this is going to disappoint? Maybe if you’re not ready for the usual over-the-top comedy that Wilson can often bring, but if you’ve enjoyed her in Isn’t It Romantic, Pitch Perfect, and Night at the Museum 3 then you’ll definitely love this one.
We’re looking at about three months for the DVD and Blu-ray release. This is about standard for movies in theaters, so we could expect to see the movie released around the middle of August 2019.
What about Amazon Video? The Digital copies are often released a week or two before the DVD release when it comes to MGM movies. This was the case with Fighting With My Family and Death Wish.

Wilson and Hathaway play two con artists in The Hustle, who are constantly at odds with each other. They decide to challenge one another to be the first to scam a wealthy mark into matrimony. The loser will need to leave town. It’s based on the 1988 movie Dirty Rotten Scoundrels but with female protagonists to but that female spin that’s needed right now.
