What it’s about: Shameless Season 9 is Emmy Rossum’s final season in the comedy series — although the show itself has at least one more year. It continues the story about the Gallaghers, a lower class family with plenty of problems.
This is a season of growth. Each of the Gallagher children try to get through life in a good way. However, with Fiona’s real estate business in trouble, new partners in and out of lives, and trouble with adoption, there’s certainly plenty of hardship being thrown the siblings and their dad’s way.

Release date: Apr. 30
What it’s about: Starring Mads Mikkelsen and Maria Thelma Smaradottir and directed by Joe Penna, Arctic is one seriously underrated movie. Overgard crashes his plane in the Arctic and finds himself stranded hundreds of miles from anywhere. He can either remain in the plane and wait for death or he can be proactive while waiting for rescue.
Fortunately, he has survival training. However, he soon realizes that he won’t just be looking out for himself. After the rescue helicopter crashes, he also needs to look out for a comatose young woman.
