For those who only get the Digital copy, there’s some bad news right now. The date for the release hasn’t been set just yet. Most Digital copies are available one to two weeks before the DVD and Blu-ray release, which means we’re looking at towards the end of April or the start of May.
The sequel to Happy Death Day, this horror movie took a bit of a twist. Instead of just Tree being the one who dies during each loop, all her friends are in danger. Only she can help to stop the loop and sometimes it means forcing her own death to restart the day.
While still good, the sequel was never going to be as good as the original. That’s the case with almost every single sequel out there. One thing it loses is the shock, unique factor, but there’s still a good story within the horror.
Critics and audiences have some similar views about the Happy Death Day sequel. It’s recommended by 68% of critics and 65% of audiences on Rotten Tomatoes.
