When is Bad Times at the El Royle on DVD and Blu-ray?

Bad Times at the El Royale is coming to DVD and Blu-ray, but when? Look out for the New Year’s Day releases for the surprisingly good action flick.

I’ll admit, I went into Bad Times at the El Royale with low expectations. I guess doing that means I’m not overly disappointed. In fact, I was extremely happy with the movie and instantly wondered when Bad Times at the El Royale would be out on DVD and Blu-ray.

If you’re wondering the same thing, there isn’t long to wait. It’s one of the New Year releases, out on Jan 1. 2019.

You can currently rent or buy the movie through Amazon Prime digitally if you’d like. Alternatively, you can pre-order the movie to get it shipped on the day of release (well, likely the day after for the holiday) and get it guaranteed at the current price below $20. The Blu-ray is an excellent option if you want the DVD and digital copy at the same time.

Bad Times at the El Royale is set in a rundown hotel that is, unsurprisingly, called the El Royale. On the border of Nevada and California, it’s the battleground for seven strangers, as they converge for an attempt at redemption.

Thor‘s Chris Hemsworth plays the mysterious Billy Lee. Don’t expect anything like the Norse God, though. This is a dark character that you’ll adore seeing Hemsworth get the chance to play. Dakota Johnson, Jeff Bridges, Cynthia Erivo, and Jon Hamm make up the cast in the movie directed and written by Drew Goddard.

There are a couple of sections that slow down, but they’re a bit of a breather from the rest of the intensity of the movie. It’s one that you need to watch right now!
