Nov. 13 is a good day. The Equalizer fans get the chance to see the sequel on digital. Denzel Washington’s movie is available to purchase on Amazon Prime ahead of the DVD and Blu-Ray release.
You’ll need to wait a little longer for the DVD release. That isn’t going to happen until Dec. 11, 2018. At least it’s before Christmas, making it the perfect gift for any Denzel Washington fans. And yes, this is a man everyone should be a fan of!

The Equalizer 2 is an extra special movie. It’s the first ever sequel that Washington has done throughout his career. A career that spans decades. This should tell you exactly what he thought of the script and the idea behind the movie.
While it is a major deal for many of those who have wanted to see Washington reprise is roles in other movies, it’s not a big deal for him. He doesn’t have anything against sequels and it’s really because he hasn’t been asked when the idea has made sense. When he was asked to do a sequel for Safe House, he made a note that it would be a prequel and not a sequel because his character died in the first movie.
It makes sense, but it doesn’t take the excitement away from The Equalizer 2. In this movie, Washington returns as Robert McCall, the skilled justice warrior. When one of his own his taken, how far is he willing to go? How far would you be willing to go?
