Can you watch Hocus Pocus on Amazon Prime Video this Halloween

It’s Halloween and that means one thing for (almost) everyone. This is the night to watch Hocus Pocus. Can you watch it on Amazon Prime Video?

Halloween is the perfect time of year for the age-old movie Hocus Pocus. Celebrating it’s 25th (can you believe it?) anniversary, the movie is a classic and (almost) everyone will put it on as a way to end the night with the kids. The question is can you watch Hocus Pocus on Amazon Prime Video in Halloween 2018?

There’s some good and bad news. While you can get the Sanderson sisters through Amazon, it’s not free with your Prime membership. Currently, the movie is only available to rent or buy through Amazon Prime Video in the United States.

If you’re just looking for something to watch once a year, renting won’t be that bad. It’s $3.99 and you get access to the rental for 30 days to start watching the movie. Once you do start, you’ve for three days to finish and then it’s removed from your Prime account. So, those who only plan to watch it at Halloween can get it right now and stream it in full tomorrow.

Those who want to watch over and over again and not think about buying in the future can get the digital copy for $9.99. It’s the HD version of the movie.

The Hocus Pocus anniversary Blu-Ray is now available, instead. This is $9.99 as well. While you won’t get it in time for Halloween 2018, it’s something to think about next year. This version is only available for Amazon Prime members, so it’s certainly worth having that membership!
