The Magnificent Seven is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video. The film was added to streaming service on Sept. 9.

The Magnificent Seven is one of the most recent film additions to the streaming service, and it’s also one of the best movies added to Prime Video lately. If you are a fan of Westerns, this movie is definitely worth a watch on Prime Video this weekend.

As you probably know, the film is based on the original film of the same from 1960 directed by John Sturges. Antoine Fuqua, best known for movies like Training Day, Olympus Has Fallen and Shooter, directed the remake of The Magnificent Seven, which was released in theaters in September 2016.

Denzel Washington, Chris Pratt, Vincent D’Onofrio, Byung-hun Lee, Martin Sensmeier, Haley Bennett, Ethan Hawke and Peter Sarsgaard star in the film.

The movie, set in the late 1870s, tells the story of a group hired guns who try to stop the villainous Bartholomew Bogue after he and his men massacred a small town.

I loved this movie! I know it didn’t get great reviews from critics, but I thought the dynamic between the characters was the best part of of the movie. Washington was great as usual, and the rest of the cast lived up to the hype.

Like The Lost City of Z, which was just added to Netflix, The Magnificent Seven is also going to be joining our ranking of the best movies on Amazon Prime Video.
