20th Century Women, Star Trek Beyond, Long Strange Trip, and Paterson headline the list of 50 Best Movies on Amazon Prime Video in June 2017!

There are some great new movies joining the 50 Best Movies on Amazon Prime Video in June 2017 including 20th Century Women, Long Strange Trip, Star Trek Beyond, and more!

Long Strange Trip was added to the streaming service on June 2. The film is a documentary about The Grateful Dead, their music, and most importantly, their impact on culture. Long Strange Trip was directed by Amir Bar-Lev.

20th Century Women is probably the most critically successful new movie to be added to the streaming service. The film joins Manchester by the Sea and Moonlight as the only major Oscar-nominated movies from 2016 now streaming on Prime Video. The film stars Elle Fanning, Annette Benning, Billy Crudup, and Greta Gerwig.

Paterson, an Amazon original film, is also coming to the streaming service in June. The film stars Adam Driver, best known for his role in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. 

We are also especially excited about Star Trek Beyond, the 2016 film starring Chris Pine. The film will be streaming on Prime Video on June 17.

There are also several older movies joining the streaming service in June 2017 including Apocalypse Now, Gone Baby Gone, Magnolia, The Queen, Ocean’s Eleven, and more!
