As part of Amazon’s deals, they will be offering a discount on the Nest Thermostat which currently retails at $248.99. This third generation product is not just any ordinary thermostat for your home. It’s compatible with Amazon’s Alexa voice control product which is sold separately.

The Alexa function allows you to control the product using just your voice as you look to adjust the temperature to your liking. It can connect to WiFi allowing you to change the setting via a cellphone, tablet or laptop. My favorite feature on this product is the Farsight ability. When the Nest spots you across the room, it will light up to show you the time, weather or temperature. The recognition system in it is pretty impressive.
Another cool feature is the Nest Leaf, which helps you save energy by guiding you on which temperature to set your device to. While you probably don’t have anyone putting a home product like this on their list, you can always spoil yourself and family with this awesome item.
The Nest will be available for $199 on Black Friday.
