Interstellar starring Matthew McConaughey and Anne Hathaway is now available to stream on Amazon Prime Video! 

One of the biggest films of 2014, Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar, is now on Amazon Prime Video!

Interstellar was released in 2014 and was written by Christopher and Jonathan Nolan. Christopher Nolan also directed the film.

Interstellar stars Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Bill Irwin, Ellen Burstyn, and Michael Caine, along with John Lithgow, Matt Damon, Topher Grace, David Oyelowo, David Gyasi, Francis X. McCarthy, Wes Bentley, and Collette Wolf.

In the film, Joe Cooper (Matthew McConaughey), a retired NASA pilot, returns to space travel to explore different planets made accessible by an alien wormhole for a possible colonization.

The film was nominated for five Oscars at the 2015 Academy Awards. All five nominations were in technical categories, including Best Achievement in Visual Effects, Best Achievement in Music Written for Motion Pictures, Original Score, Best Achievement in Sound Mixing, Best Achievement in Sound Editing, and Best Achievement in Production Design.

Interstellar won the Oscar for Best Visual Effects.
