From David E. Kelley, creator of such popular legal dramas as The Practice, Ally McBeal, Boston Legal, and Harry’s Law, the prolific producer and screenwriter’s latest law-based series looks to revive a former staple genre. Billy McBride (Thornton) turned in his litigation prowess for the drink, but he jumps back into the shark-infested waters with a high-stakes case.

Goliath explores redemption and moral balance beams from the point of view of McBride and his motley crew as they search for secrets and conspiracies that could cost them their lives. Thornton scored a Golden Globe nomination for his role as Billy McBride, solidifying Goliath’s status as can’t-miss dramatic television.
