Jeff Daniels stars as the brash news anchor Will McAvoy, whose job becomes trying following a meltdown as MacKenzie Hale (Emily Mortimer) joins his team as an executive producer to overhaul his broadcast. The series features an ensemble cast and explores current events, such as the 2012 presidential election.
