From Robert and Michelle King, the creators of the wildly successful drama series The Good Wife, comes the recently canceled political satire series BrainDead. If you’re a fan of House of Cards but also enjoy a good laugh, you’ll love the outlandish political climate of BrainDead.

Laurel (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) begins work for her senator brother (Danny Pino) in her hometown of Washington D.C., but she runs into a few problems that have plagued the government. For starters, the government has been disrupted and ceased operations because of a budget blunder. Also, bugs have begun to munch on the minds of Capitol Hill and Congress elite. Normal.

Conspiracy theories and mysterious bugs complicate congressional matters, and Laurel must investigate the cause. Overflowing with a talented cast from Winstead to Monk’s Tony Shaloub and everyone in between and from executive producer Ridley Scott, BrainDead is a unique political science fiction thriller that makes a comedic impact larger than its 13 episodes.
