Another comedy series starring television veteran Ted Danson, Bored To Death ran for three season on HBO under the radar despite the star power attached to it. Zach Galifianakis starred in the unprecedented monstrous box office hit The Hangover in the same year, which like Bored To Death, resulted in a trilogy.

Jason Schwartman stars as a fictionalized version of series creator Jonathan Ames. Still a Brooklyn based writer, this version of Ames dabbles in private investigation come nightfall. Jonathan ropes his friends Ray (Galifianakis) and George (Danson) into joining his detective efforts after he successfully solves his first crimes.

Despite its title, Bored To Death will not leave you bored to death in the slightest. The clever dialogue, enthralling stories, and impressive list of guest stars will keep you laughing to death during all 24 episodes.
